Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune is a premier medical institute of India. The College is a Centre of Excellence for medical education and research. It was initially established in 1948 for postgraduate courses. The graduate wing for the MBBS course was started on 04 Aug 1962 with the aim of inducting medical graduates to the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). Presently the college provides training to under-graduate and post-graduate medical and nursing students with assured career prospects in the defence services. AFMC, Pune is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and is recognized by the Medical Council of India.

NEET 2018 Cutoff AFMC – TheArmed Forces Medical College, Pune releases NEET Cutoff AFMC. It is important to note that AFMC will not be taking admission solely on the basis of NEET UG like other states. AFMC has its own counselling process in which the authorities will be conducting several tests. However, only the marks scored by the candidates in NEET will be considered for determining the NEET 2018cutoff AFMC as the counselling process includes subjective tests like Psychological Assessment Test and the marks of the candidates along with Personal Interview test cannot be used for stipulating cutoff. There are 150 seats available for AFMC admission among which 117 seats are reserved for male candidates and 28 seats are reserved for female candidates.. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination to be held in the month of June / July at AFMC, Pune.
